What are the size limits?
About 150 MB on desktop and 80 MB on phones. Split, grid, and PDF tools still cap at 50 MB, so compress first when a master is heavier.
How do I hit 100 KB or 500 KB?
Pick JPEG or WebP, then choose a target size. The tool lowers quality and, if needed, dimensions. PNG ignores the quality slider — use JPEG or WebP when size is the goal.
Will transparency survive?
PNG and WebP can keep it. JPEG flattens onto white. If you need a transparent tile later, stay on PNG or WebP.
Are files uploaded?
No. Compression runs in a local worker. Nothing is stored for training or later retrieval.
