Frequently asked questions
Should I split horizontally or vertically?
Use 1×2 (the default) for a left/right pair and 2×1 for a top/bottom stack. Match the direction you will post or print so the seam sits where a hinge or swipe already exists.
What are the file names?
File 1 is the left tile in 1×2 or the top tile in 2×1. File 2 is the other half. That is reading order, not Instagram profile order.
Are photos uploaded to a server?
No. ImageSplit reads the file in your browser, runs the work in a local worker, and downloads the result from memory. There is no upload API for your images.
