Frequently asked questions
Will twelve tiles look small?
Each piece is one twelfth of the source. If the original is a phone screenshot, start from a larger export. A 6000-pixel master is a safer poster than a 1200-pixel JPEG.
3×4 or 4×3?
3×4 is wider (three rows, four columns) — the default for comics and dense boards. 4×3 is taller and closer to four Instagram profile rows. Numbers run left to right, top to bottom.
Should I print these as images or a PDF?
This page downloads twelve image files with no margins. For A4/Letter sheets you can tape, use Split to PDF. For a 3×3 wall, Split in 9 is simpler.
Are photos uploaded to a server?
No. ImageSplit reads the file in your browser, runs the work in a local worker, and downloads the result from memory. There is no upload API for your images.
