Instagram feed planner

This planner is for several separate photos, not one image split into tiles. Drag the cards, switch crop style, and export a mockup.

100% private — processing happens entirely in your browser.

Profile planning

What is Feed Planner?

Feed Planner helps you arrange upcoming images into a 3-column rhythm before they reach your profile. Add real photos, move them into place, and download a simple planning mockup.

How it works

Plan the next rows

  1. 1

    Add the real upcoming posts

Placeholders hide color clashes. Use the files you might actually publish.

  2. 2

    Switch square and profile crop

Square is the classic tile. Profile crop shows a taller rhythm.

  3. 3

    Reorder and export

Drag on desktop or use arrows on a phone, then save the mockup.

Tips before you download

Alternate visual weight

Avoid placing several busy or dark images in the same row when a calmer cadence reads better.

Preview the crop

Use the profile crop when the important part of a vertical image is not centered.

Plan one row ahead

The next row affects how the current posts will feel once new content is added above them.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is this a grid splitter?

No. A splitter cuts one picture. The feed planner lines up many pictures so you can judge the profile before posting.

How many images can I plan?

Plan up to nine upcoming posts at once: one 3×3 profile block. This keeps the mockup focused on the next visible section of the profile instead of turning it into a long publishing calendar.

Can I move an image anywhere in the grid?

Yes. On desktop, drag a card onto an empty space to move it or onto another card to swap their positions. On a phone, use the Up and Down controls on each card to adjust the order.

Can it schedule to Instagram?

No. It only previews order and crop. Publishing still happens in the app or your usual scheduler.

Can I download the preview?

Yes. Export a PNG mockup for yourself, a client, or a checklist.

Does this upload my photos?

No. Preview, crop, slicing, and ZIP packaging all run in the browser tab. ImageSplit has no image upload API.
